Money fight is quite common in various families, it’s a normal outburst of your frustration regarding financial deadlock. But at the same time it needs to handled carefully, otherwise it can decay your relationship.

• Don’t discuss the money matter all the time; your partner might be not in a mood for such discussions. Follow a schedule or fix a date to sit together & go over things.
• You must have clear information before any huge expenses or for any unplanned expenses. It will help you to make your own plan; you don’t need to depend on others.
• Money symbolises several different things, like- power, security, freedom etc. Consider the real issue in your money discussion; give priority to the real needs.
• If you are going through any financial deadlock then try to fulfill one requirement at a time. Give priority one person at a time. Discuss the things in a clear way, so that no misunderstanding could arise.
• When something happened without any discussion (like- if your partner purchased a pair of shoe of his/her choice) negotiate with the matter. Don’t make the things unnecessary complicated.
• If you are going through any financial crisis & your partner solves the problem quite efficiently then appreciate his/her courage instead of criticizing them.
• When you failed to compromise with the saving or spending, try opposite roles or just interchange the roles. It will help you to realize the others point of view.
