Grandparents have made our life easy; because of them you have reached today wherever you are. They have made lots of sacrifices to give us the maximum comfort. In this self centric society we forget their contributions in our upbringing.  But they need to be treated with full respect in each & every aspect. It’s our responsibility to make them feel that they are one of the great pillars in our life.

• Try to contact them once every alternative day & ask them about their day long activities. It makes them feel that you care about them.
• You can visit their homes on your day off. If you are a family man & have kids then take them to your grandparent’s house. It will make them happy.
• They might be very eager to go somewhere; because of some inabilities they fail to do so. Take them if they want to go somewhere. Sometimes even voluntarily take them some place they like to go .
• Even you can plan for some short trip with your grandparents.
• Take them out for groceries whenever you can or you can even take them out & purchase outfits of their choice.
• Hug them whenever you get the chance (when you come to receive them, when you see them off etc). Make some sweet comments about their appearance.
• Sometimes take them to your home & spend the whole day together with your family.
• If your grandmother is strong enough then you can even ask her to prepare some special dish for you. It will make them feel delighted to make something for you.
• You can even arrange some old film show at their house & ask other friends of your grandparents to come & participate.
