Child abuse is one of the major social problems in our society. Every single day lots of children are exploited, assaulted, and harassed. These shots of assault can make a vast difference in their development, which can also lead to the psychological disorders.

• First & foremost thing is to gather proper knowledge of what is happening and then make the ultimate decision.
• Reduce as much time as you can from the period of time your child is spending with an adult.
• Keep the friendly open relationship with your children so that they can approach you or feel free to discuss several topics.
• Try to notice carefully if you find any signs of assault on your child’s body, like differences in behaviour, rashes, redness in genital area, offensive languages etc.
• Ensure that you believe your child, try to stay calm & exhibit your support.
• As a parent you should be well aware with whom your child is moving around, getting a clear idea of their schools atmosphere is very important.
• To know their friends try to get involved in their activities.
• If your children indicate that they are enjoying somebody’s company, then is the time to pay attention.
• If somebody shows special interest in your children then handle the situation with some special care.
• Don’t ever leave your children alone or unattended in any transport.
• Try to give your children a clear idea of good touches or bad touches or confusing touches.
