People love to be together rather than communicating through social media because it gives them more happiness and feeling of close bond. However, with more and more technology people are getting more practical and they understand that they cannot miss out their priorities.
Bacardi is the leading rum manufacturer and Bacardi is trying to have a pioneering research where they want to check the level of happiness when people come together. The survey is a simple questionnaire of 146 questions which will be passed on to more than 5000 American adults to understand what they think about happiness, togetherness and socializing. The survey will take a close look at what people really think about their family and friends and whether people prefer to enjoy communicating on social media compare to face to face talks.
The results of Bacardi Together Index have clearly shown that people still love to be connected with their friends and family even when they are tied up with their work. In the survey more than 84% people believe that being close to the family and friends really help in the real world because one can get a lot of happiness that can impact personal life and career as well. In the research more than 64% strongly believe that communicating face to face is far better than communicating through social media because when you are talking face to face you are more connected with the person. The survey also asked questions about why people are not able to be together at times and most people went for lack of money option. Over 58% people believe that lack of money can really create troubles and apart from geographical distances and lack of time can also be the main reasons for it.
